YASMINA SAADOUN
Grew up in Skikda, Khroub and Constantine, Algeria. Semi-figurative native Algerian Painter that works on the edges of various traditional Algerian art forms and specializes in the issues and feelings of the Algerian woman.
Education :
1989 : (C.E.A.G) Certificat d’Etudes Artistiques Générales, Option peinture.
1990 : Diplôme d’Etudes des Beaux-arts, Option : peinture.
1994 : (D.E.SA) Diplôme National d’Etudes Supérieurs Artistiques, Option Peinture.
1995–2002 : enseignante à l’école des beaux-arts de Constantine.
1993-Present-Expositions: Both Individual and Collective-Throughout Algeria, Rennes, Paris and Saint-Tropez, France, Masquât, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Mataro, Spain, and the Dubai, Sharjah, UAE.

HALA HOAGLAND
Born in Chappell, Nebraska, USA in 1972. Grew up in Wyoming and Colorado before moving to Constantine, Algeria in 2004, as well as, living in Atlanta, Georgia off and on.
Poet-Writer since age 7. Professional Editor since 1995.
Freelance Business and Communications Consultant 2001-2004- Primary project- helped reopen and revitalize an NPO called SCCC (Somali Community Center of Colorado).
Freelance Work Included:
Intercultural Mediation, Transcription, Interviewing and Journalism, Writing in various genre and purpose, including professional ghost writing. Student assistance-tutoring, book summaries, requests as needed.
