Oblivious

Glazed, glaucoma worlds

of organized confusion

foisted upon wandering

nomads enslaved by masters

in narrow optical

prisms of deceit.

Phobias compel entranced,

disengaged zombie peons

stupor chants of directed

conformity atop tsunami

waves of choiring

incoherence imprisoned

in cells of obeisant

servitude to plastic

Messianic Gods cloaked

in self-sufficiency.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  Summer Song

 

Nature’s lute fruit

             "Ode To Joy";

requiem for rebirth.

Uncaged. Sublime

           lyrical elegance

into pastoral meditation

borne upon wings

of graceful, unthreatened

sanctity. Peace.

Thornless rose,

honeysuckle scented

summer breeze.

Invisible tree frog

          sonnet serenade

of

             grateful praise.

Visions of glory

in lone

               exaltation;

delusional homage

to a

         Greater Circle

sated with myopic

odes to

            ego illusions.

Distended heads

submerged in Muddy

Waters

                  baptism;

bathed with oils

and spices

           self-anointed.

Grandiose sypmphonic

opus to idols

            ill-conceived;

shackled to fated

foregone conclusions

and the malignant

                narcissism.
