Surface Web
Bitter from the holy snarl
of lithium circuits running,
bearing up green placid fur
and skyscapes chucking blue
Sparing not the child wicked
lit from liquid crystal,
spoiling the rod electric
the keystrokes all remembered
Deep Web
Voice distorts to flaming vowels
the promises of youth,
behind each sliding glass of lies
a truth that’s less agrestic
Terabytes like ocean miles
the whitenoise waves sing out,
“Barren is the hi-tech frontier
so manifest and take it"
